*Try to prepare a notebook that you will use only for storing new English words. Whenever you find or learn a new word, write it to your notebook. Suppose, you are reading a new story book or magazine. If you find any new word that was unknown to you previously, collect it and note it on your notebook. So, now you have a notebook with all the new words learnt by you time to time. Note down the meanings of the words beside them. Revise the words and their meanings time to time. This will help you in two ways. Firstly, you get a collection of huge words. Secondly, you can revise them any time.

* শব্দ শেখার জন্য অ্যাপস, গেমস, ভিডিও ইত্যাদির সাহায্য নিতে পারো। অ্যানিমেশনকৃত অ্যাপস, গেমস, ভিডিও ইত্যাদির সাহায্যে আরও দ্রুত ইংরেজি শব্দ শেখা সম্ভব।
* শুধুমাত্র ইংরেজি শব্দের জন্য একটি নোটবুক বা খাতা তৈরি করো। যখনই তুমি কোনো নতুন শব্দ দেখবে বা শিখবে তখনই এই খাতাটিতে তা তুলে ফেলো। যেমন- তুমি একটি নতুন ইংরেজি গল্পের বই বা পত্রিকা পড়ছো। এতে নতুন কোনো ইংরেজি শব্দ পেলে তা তোমার নোট বুক বা খাতায় লিখে ফেলো। কিছুদিন পরপর খাতা বা নোটবুকটি বের করে রিভাইস করো।

ইংরেজি গ্রামার তথা ব্যাকরণের নিয়মগুলো আয়ত্ব করার চেষ্টা করো। নিয়মগুলো সঠিকভাবে শিখতে পারলে তুমি নিজেই ইংরেজি বাক্য তৈরি করতে পারবে। তোমার বন্ধুবান্ধব বা আত্নীয়স্বজন কিংবা লাইব্রেরী হতে ইংরেজি গ্রামার বই সংগ্রহ করতে পারো। তাছাড়া অনলাইন ওয়েবসাইটগুলো হতেও ফ্রি English grammar book ডাউনলোড করতে পারো।)
As an English teacher I found that many new learners face a common problem when they start to learn this language. They cannot make decision which grammatical terms they should study first. Here is a direction from my side. Firstly, you can get ideas about English letters and sounds. Secondly, you should learn English words. Thirdly, you can study sentence and its structures. Then, you can take a basic idea about Parts of Speech. After that, you should learn Tense. Next, try to learn about conjugation of verbs and concentrate on all kinds of sentences and their structures. Then, you can move to other grammatical terms such as person, case, sentence change, number change, gender change, voice change, degree, narration, right form of verbs, article, modifiers, tag questions, punctuation, etc.

(লক্ষ্য করা যায় যে, ইংরেজি শিখতে শুরু করে অনেকেই এই সমস্যায় পড়ে থাকে যে, প্রথমে কি শিখব? আর তার পর কোন জিনিসটা শেখা উচিত। অর্থাৎ ধারাবাহিকতা কি হবে? প্রথমে কি Parts of Speech শিখব না Tense? নাকি Sentence? এ সবগুলোই ইংরেজিতে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ। তবে শেখার সুবিধার জন্য টার্মগুলোকে সাজিয়ে নাও। প্রথমে ইংরেজি অক্ষর ও বর্ণমালার ধারণা নেয়ার পর ইংরেজি শব্দ শিখতে থাকো। আর গ্রামার বা ব্যাকরণের ক্ষেত্রে প্রথমেই Sentence এবং Sentence structure তথা বাক্যের গঠনরীতিটা জেনে নাও। এরপর নিতে হবে Parts of Speech এর সবগুলো (Noun, Pronoun, Adjective, Verb, Adverb, Preposition, Conjunction, Interjection) সম্পর্কে মৌলিক ধারণা। এরপর তোমার উচিত Tense সম্পর্কে ধারণা নেওয়া। Tense শেখার সময় তোমাকে Verb এর বিভিন্ন রূপ সম্পর্কে জানতে হবে। যেহেতু Verb সম্পর্কে মৌলিক ধারণা তুমি ইতিমধ্যেই নিয়ে নিয়েছো, তাই ব্যাপারটা তোমার জন্য সহজ হবে। এখন যখন Tense শিখে তুমি বিভিন্ন ধরণের বাক্য তৈরি করতে শিখবে, তখন বিভিন্ন ধরণের বাক্যের গঠন (Structure) এবার বিস্তারিতভাবে শেখার চেষ্টা করো। এ পর্যন্ত এসে তোমার ইংরেজি সম্পর্কে মৌলিক ধারণা হয়ে যাবে। এখন ইংরেজি ব্যাকরণের অন্যান্য বিষয় যেমন- Number change, Gender change, Voice change, Case, Degree, Narration, Right form of verbs, article, Modifiers, Determiners, Tag questions, Punctuation ইত্যাদি শেখা শুরু করতে পারো। তাহলে দেখা যাচ্ছে যে ধারাবাহিকতার চার্টটি আমি অনুসরণ করতে বলছি তা নিন্মরূপ:-)

অক্ষর ও বর্ণমালা সম্পর্কে ধারণা হয়ে যাওয়ার পর পরই যথাসম্ভব ইংরেজি শব্দ শিখতে শুরু করো। এ ব্যাপারে তোমার অবশ্যই প্রচুর আগ্রহ থাকতে হবে। তোমার ইংরেজি শব্দভান্ডার যথেষ্ট সমৃদ্ধ হলে এই ভাষাটি বুঝতে ও শিখতে অনেক সহজ হয়ে যাবে। একটি ডিকশনারি বা অভিধান থেকে শব্দ শিখতে পারো, কিংবা ইন্টারনেট বা অন্যান্য উৎস হতে ইংরেজি শব্দ সংগ্রহ করতে পারো। যেখান থেকেই সংগ্রহ করো না কেন, তোমার প্রচুর ইংরেজি শব্দ শেখা উচিত। তবে, প্রথমে সবচেয়ে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ শব্দগুলো শেখার মাধ্যমে শুরু করতে পারো। যেমন- প্রথমে সবচেয়ে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ১০০ টি Verb কিংবা Noun, অথবা Adjective এবং পরবর্তীতে ১০০০ টি গুরুত্বপূর্ণ Verb, Noun, Adjective, এর পর ৫০০০ টি করে, এভাবে তোমার ইংরেজি শব্দভান্ডারকে সমৃদ্ধ করতে পারো। নিচের লিঙ্কগুলোতে বেশ কিছু গুরুত্বপূর্ণ শব্দ খুঁজে পাবে। এগুলো শেখার মাধ্যমেও তুমি তোমার ইংরেজি শব্দভান্ডারকে সমৃদ্ধ করতে পারো।)

*Note: How to learn English words more efficiently
*Have you ever wondered how to learn English words more quickly and efficiently? Here are the suggestions:
*Mark your dictionary to identify whether the words are known or unknown to you. Try to memorize the words and their meanings those are unknown to you.
*Use word learning apps, games or videos to learn new words. It is more effective when you try to learn new words by the help of animated presentations.
*Try to prepare a notebook that you will use only for storing new English words. Whenever you find or learn a new word, write it to your notebook. Suppose, you are reading a new story book or magazine. If you find any new word that was unknown to you previously, collect it and note it on your notebook. So, now you have a notebook with all the new words learnt by you time to time. Note down the meanings of the words beside them. Revise the words and their meanings time to time. This will help you in two ways. Firstly, you get a collection of huge words. Secondly, you can revise them any time.

* তোমার ইংরেজি অভিধান তথা ডিকশনারী ব্যবহার করে জানা শব্দগুলো মার্ক করো। এরপর অজানা শব্দগুলো ধীরে ধীরে শিখে ফেলো। মাঝে মাঝে জানা শব্দগুলোও রিভাইস করো। প্রতিদিন নতুন নতুন শব্দ শিখে তোমার জানা শব্দের সংখ্যা বৃদ্ধি করো।
* শব্দ শেখার জন্য অ্যাপস, গেমস, ভিডিও ইত্যাদির সাহায্য নিতে পারো। অ্যানিমেশনকৃত অ্যাপস, গেমস, ভিডিও ইত্যাদির সাহায্যে আরও দ্রুত ইংরেজি শব্দ শেখা সম্ভব।
* শুধুমাত্র ইংরেজি শব্দের জন্য একটি নোটবুক বা খাতা তৈরি করো। যখনই তুমি কোনো নতুন শব্দ দেখবে বা শিখবে তখনই এই খাতাটিতে তা তুলে ফেলো। যেমন- তুমি একটি নতুন ইংরেজি গল্পের বই বা পত্রিকা পড়ছো। এতে নতুন কোনো ইংরেজি শব্দ পেলে তা তোমার নোট বুক বা খাতায় লিখে ফেলো। কিছুদিন পরপর খাতা বা নোটবুকটি বের করে রিভাইস করো।
* উপরের নিয়মগুলো অনুসরণ করলে আশা করা যায় তোমার ইংরেজি শব্দভান্ডার যথেষ্ট সমৃদ্ধ হবে।)

Learn and practice the English grammar rules. Once you know the rules, you will be able to make sentences by yourself. You can collect grammar books from the libraries near to you. Or, you can download free grammar books from internet. There are many websites to provide you with free grammar books.

ইংরেজি গ্রামার তথা ব্যাকরণের নিয়মগুলো আয়ত্ব করার চেষ্টা করো। নিয়মগুলো সঠিকভাবে শিখতে পারলে তুমি নিজেই ইংরেজি বাক্য তৈরি করতে পারবে। তোমার বন্ধুবান্ধব বা আত্নীয়স্বজন কিংবা লাইব্রেরী হতে ইংরেজি গ্রামার বই সংগ্রহ করতে পারো। তাছাড়া অনলাইন ওয়েবসাইটগুলো হতেও ফ্রি English grammar book ডাউনলোড করতে পারো।)
As an English teacher I found that many new learners face a common problem when they start to learn this language. They cannot make decision which grammatical terms they should study first. Here is a direction from my side. Firstly, you can get ideas about English letters and sounds. Secondly, you should learn English words. Thirdly, you can study sentence and its structures. Then, you can take a basic idea about Parts of Speech. After that, you should learn Tense. Next, try to learn about conjugation of verbs and concentrate on all kinds of sentences and their structures. Then, you can move to other grammatical terms such as person, case, sentence change, number change, gender change, voice change, degree, narration, right form of verbs, article, modifiers, tag questions, punctuation, etc.

(লক্ষ্য করা যায় যে, ইংরেজি শিখতে শুরু করে অনেকেই এই সমস্যায় পড়ে থাকে যে, প্রথমে কি শিখব? আর তার পর কোন জিনিসটা শেখা উচিত। অর্থাৎ ধারাবাহিকতা কি হবে? প্রথমে কি Parts of Speech শিখব না Tense? নাকি Sentence? এ সবগুলোই ইংরেজিতে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ। তবে শেখার সুবিধার জন্য টার্মগুলোকে সাজিয়ে নাও। প্রথমে ইংরেজি অক্ষর ও বর্ণমালার ধারণা নেয়ার পর ইংরেজি শব্দ শিখতে থাকো। আর গ্রামার বা ব্যাকরণের ক্ষেত্রে প্রথমেই Sentence এবং Sentence structure তথা বাক্যের গঠনরীতিটা জেনে নাও। এরপর নিতে হবে Parts of Speech এর সবগুলো (Noun, Pronoun, Adjective, Verb, Adverb, Preposition, Conjunction, Interjection) সম্পর্কে মৌলিক ধারণা। এরপর তোমার উচিত Tense সম্পর্কে ধারণা নেওয়া। Tense শেখার সময় তোমাকে Verb এর বিভিন্ন রূপ সম্পর্কে জানতে হবে। যেহেতু Verb সম্পর্কে মৌলিক ধারণা তুমি ইতিমধ্যেই নিয়ে নিয়েছো, তাই ব্যাপারটা তোমার জন্য সহজ হবে। এখন যখন Tense শিখে তুমি বিভিন্ন ধরণের বাক্য তৈরি করতে শিখবে, তখন বিভিন্ন ধরণের বাক্যের গঠন (Structure) এবার বিস্তারিতভাবে শেখার চেষ্টা করো। এ পর্যন্ত এসে তোমার ইংরেজি সম্পর্কে মৌলিক ধারণা হয়ে যাবে। এখন ইংরেজি ব্যাকরণের অন্যান্য বিষয় যেমন- Number change, Gender change, Voice change, Case, Degree, Narration, Right form of verbs, article, Modifiers, Determiners, Tag questions, Punctuation ইত্যাদি শেখা শুরু করতে পারো। তাহলে দেখা যাচ্ছে যে ধারাবাহিকতার চার্টটি আমি অনুসরণ করতে বলছি তা নিন্মরূপ:-)
১)ইংরেজি অক্ষর ও উচ্চারণ ২)ইংরেজি শব্দ ৩)বাক্য এবং এর মৌলিক গঠনরীতি ৪)পদ ৫)কাল ৬)ক্রিয়ার রূপ ৭)বাক্য এবং এর গঠনরীতি (বিস্তারিত) ৮)ইংরেজি ব্যাকরণের অন্যান্য বিষয়।
Step 4: Reading English books, magazines, articles, newspapers
If you can manage to read a lot of English books, newspapers, magazines or articles, your language skill will develop tremendously. You will come to know the new words and thus your word knowledge will be increased. You will also be able to learn grammatical terms and you can use the knowledge for your own favor. This will definitely be helpful when you are a serious learner. So, try to read as many as articles, books, magazines, journals, newspapers as you can. Step 5: Watching English movies, cartoons, dramas, documentaries
This is another way to flourish your skills. Try to watch as many as English movies, dramas, documentaries or cartoons. Step 6: Listening to English songs, audios, news, CDs or DVDs
If you have no opportunity to watch movies or cartoons, at least try to listen to news. You can listen to FM radio or download podcasts. There are many channels such as BBC News, Al Jazeera, Voice of America or many others of them. Try to tune to any channel and keep listening English. Listening to songs, audios or news will definitely boost your skills.

You will find English speaking apps, English grammar apps or vocabulary apps. If you are interested, you can download and install these apps. These apps have many attractive features and they are very easy to use. You can try these English learning apps to practice this language.
